Our Staff

Lisa Wilhelm: I have been in the dental profession since 1987. I began my dental career upon graduation from the Wichita Area Technical College Dental Assisting Program. I eventually moved from chair side assisting to financial and insurance administrative duties. I love the closeness and personal contact I have with our patients. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, Shawn, and my two children, Ashley and Justin.

Missy Tooker: I moved to Wichita from Scottsdale, Arizona—where I lived for two and one half years. I was born and raised in Oklahoma City and I am a 1996 graduate of the University Of Oklahoma School Of Dental Hygiene. I have had the pleasure of working in several dental offices learning new practices, watching dentistry advance, and meeting wonderful people along the way. Meeting and helping people is why I chose dentistry. I get to know many new people everyday and build great friendships. I have been married to my best friend since July, 2001. Dan and I have one ‘son’—a two and one half year old Weimaraner named Baxter! I love dentistry and making each of my patient’s dental experience an enjoyable one.

Caryn Kelley: I have worked in the dental profession since 2002. My career began as a chair side assistant and, after a year, I decided to return to school to complete my degree in Dental Hygiene at Wichita State University. I received my license in 2004. I have established many relationships with a variety of patients through the years and I always enjoy seeing a new face! All of the advancements and changes in the dental field keep this a challenging and rewarding profession. I have lived most of my life in Derby, Ks. and I am blessed with a beautiful family. My husband, Derrick, is the love of my life. We have two wonderful children— Blaine and Colten (and dog Abbey). We stay very active and love spending time together.

Danielle: I have been a Certified Dental Assistant since 1984. I don't know any other career that could be more enjoyable or exciting due to the up and coming changes and improvements in the profession of dentistry today. The people I treat and work with are another main reason I have chosen to stay involved so long. It is like having an extended family. My own family consists of my husband, Dan, and my son and my two stepsons, J.D. and Brandon. I enjoy regular exercise and trying to keep up with my youngest!

Jill Shook: I am relatively new to the dental profession with about three years involvement. It amazes me how much dentistry has advanced in such a short amount of time and how much more improvement we will see in the future. One of the greatest highs for me is to see our patients’ smiles when their treatment is complete. If a person can’t or won’t smile it’s hard to be happy and I like to make people happy. I also enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Matt and I are avid enthusiasts. With our two sons Colton and Cody we enjoy camping, hunting, fishing and hanging out with our dogs Ally and Charlie.

Brooke Roane: I have been a chairside dental assistant for three years. I took a break to become a licensed cosmetologist and I have recently returned to the dental profession. The world of dentistry is constantly changing so there is always something new to learn and keep me on my toes. I love the relationships that I have developed with our patients and the other members of our team. I can’t imagine doing anything else. When I’m not at work I enjoy hanging out with my friends, working out and playing with my dogs Harley and Maci.

Dentist: Dentistry has certainly changed over the years! Everything from anesthesia techniques to the materials and methods I now use to restore teeth. I now routinely fix many cavities with no anesthesia thanks to a technique called Air Abrasion (drill-less dentistry). It is wonderful for children, also. I now can fabricate ceramic 'fillings' and crowns in one appointment using a CEREC machine that takes a computer image of the tooth and the mills the restoration from a block of ceramic (CAD-CAM). It is quite amazing. Add to that the many, many things we are doing with our computers and it is quite a different dental world we have now. It is a great time to be a dentist AND a patient!
